VIVALDI PREMIERES

With Vivaldi's large number of concert recordings, it may seem surprising that there are still works that have not yet been recorded. The Spanish violinist Lina Tur Bonet and the renowned specialist of Vivaldi Olivier Fourés have put together on this album a program made up of these "premieres". This includes the first recording of the RV218 and RV346 violin concertos, the unrecognized RV771 and the two "Graz Sonatas", for which Fourés reconstructed the cello part for this CD. In these works, Vivaldi allows us to discover a little-known face of the composer, very diverse and varied. Lina Tur Bonet, at the head of her ensemble Musica Alchemica, performs fast passages with virtuosity and with a dream lyricism.
